Opaque, unfiltered, deep, dull red like the flesh of a ripe red grapefruit, or strawberry juice. Has trouble forming a head, producing a thin layer with a minute retention, white.
Fresh and sweet berries on the nose, strawberries being very distinct. Not knowing better, I might have said raspberries as well, and watermelon. There's a whiff of complimentary hops, juicy citrus, and in balance with the fruit.
Taste is refreshingly tart & fruity, with a lingering, tongue-tingling acidity. The fruit is less distinct behind the sourness, but there are notes of strawberry, dark cherry, raspberry. It's like a sour jolly rancher candy. Light carbonation, medium body, very dry finish.
A decent experiment, though with so much going on it doesn't seem to do anything particularly well, and the fruit ingredients don't present themselves clearly.
