Very much coffee forward. Wish it had more chocolate notes an taste. Overall, one of my faves from 4 stacks!

Poured a black body with good tan head. The aroma is a strong chocolate smell with little else. Smooth, clean, bitter, some roasted malts with bitter/roasted chocolate sweetness and some balance. The finish is clean w/ a slight sweetness and not much going on but it's enjoyable.

This is absolutely awful. The smell is, I don't know how to describe it, nonexistent. There is a slight hint of something, but it's not pleasant. The flavor is horrendous. No coffee, no chocolate, just an acrid tartness with a watered down medicinal mess of a finish. This was my first beer from Four Stacks, and definitely my last. Highly regret spending the money on this. It's a drain pour, but I chugged it just to at least kind of get my money's worth.

Four Stacks Chocolate Coffee Porter

This is one of my favorite offerings at Four Stacks. The only disappointing quality of this beer is the nose, I dont pick up a lot of chocolate or coffee coming off of the nose. That being said, the taste of this beer is beyond superb. The flavor is mostly coffee with light chocolate notes on the back of the palatte. I love the light ABV and the intense coffee notes make this a coffee lovers dream machine. The carbonation in this brew gives it almost an effervescent lightness. This is such a drinkable porter. Excellent choice and very sessionable.
