Picked up a few cans from the brewery (great vibe). Poured a foggy gold with a thin bubbly head. Aroma of grass, orange zest, grapefruit and melon. Taste was grapefruit, lime, apricot and Tang. Powdery, aspirin-like mouthfeel.

Slightly opaque golden amber in color. Off white head is hangs around for the duration.

Aroma is big on cascade, grassy. touch of grapefruit pith in the back.

The flavor combines substantial cereal grain like malts with a big but soft cascade presence. It doesn't have the usual bitterness cascade brings.

Fairly substantial body for a pale ale, which I like to see.

Overall this is a great pale ale that isn't going to wow you much but it's also a total success for what I like in a straight pale ale. That's saying something as I am not always a fan of cascade.

Enjoyed at the brewery.

A - Poured a nice lightly hazy copper orange hue with a good one one finger head that fades to leave sticky lacing and a thin blanket.

S - Aromas of decent malt backbone. Softer hops, very very light citrus peel, faint orange pith.

T - Taste is similar to the nose. The malts are more subtle and provide good balance. The hops are floral with some nice grassy notes. Very faint bitterness.

M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated with light crispness.

O - Overall this was a solid apa. Nice grassy hops notes with faint bitterness. Solid.
