Look: very opaque and light faded orange color. A light one finger head visible after pour.
Smell: Mixture of citrus orange and pine from the hops followed by bread and biscuit infused from the rye.
Taste: Very dry and balanced flavor. For a beer double dry hopped, the danko rye gives a nice compliment to the flavor.
Feel: Full and fluffy, yet easy to drink.
Overall: An underrated beer that has a delicious combination of ingredients making it a unique and well balanced IPA.

Dated 12/27/17.
One finger of off-white head, dissipated quickly. Dark opaque orange juice in color, verging on brown. Florally rye malt, unripened citrus, grapefruit rind, candied fruit, slight pine and just the faintness whiff of a dark spice on the nose. Reminds me of the woods after a rainfall. Rye is definitely up front on the taste, followed by the candied fruit, pine, pepper, earthiness and grapefruit. Undetectable 6.0% ABV, medium body and a decent amount of carbonation.

16oz undated can.
Pours cloudy gold with a minimal head or retention. Dank and piney in the nose with a spicy undertone. Medium bodied with a slickish, almost syrupy mouthfeel. Solidly bitter and spicy on the palate with shades of earthy pine bark and a peppery maltiness. Finishes with a lingering bitterness and spicy malt.
A nice beer but the bitterness is a bit overdone.
