Can from Colonial Spirits.
Slightly hazy deep yellow color with a thin bubbly white head that slowly dissipates. Earthy lemony buttery about sums this one up. Pretty disappointing first beer from this brewery for me.

Tap at the brewery
Big creamy fluffy head fades slowly, soapy lacing, murky orange tangerine color
Nose muted, little citrus, mild toasted malt, golden sweet cake malt, grassy hop
Taste sweet malt but not really sweet, toasted grain, cake batter note, into mild grassy hop, leafy as well, maybe a touch floral. Dry finish little bitter spicy hop.
Mouth is med to lighter bod, fluffy carb
Overall eh, nothing to write home about, nothing wrong, just bland without much going on, I think the malts and hops could have showcased better too but then again maybe this is what they are.

Picked up a can of this at Julio's.
A - Poured into my Duvel tulip a hazy golden orange hue with a thin one head that faded very quickly to leave very light wisps and a thin halo.
S - Aromas of light malt sweetness, cracker malts, light green hops, fainter citrus, light melon notes, little spicy floral.
T - Taste is similar to the nose. Decent amount of cracker malts, very little sweetness. Hops finish with some light spicy piney bitterness. Solid melon notes, citrus is has decent grapefruit, maybe a little bit of dank earthiness.
M - Mouthfeel is lowly carbonated, body feels rather thin and watery.
O - Overall for me this was an improvement on previous Mindset versions, but as with V3 the mouthfeel is on the thinner side. If that was similar to some of the other hoppy ale offerings I feel this would end up being a much better beer.

16 oz. can dated 04/24/17
Pours cloudy hazy gold with a frothy white foam head. Smells like dank green earthy herbal grass, some papaya, melon rind, mango skin, strawberry, pineapple, grapefruit, orange citrus, some oats, wheat, toasty crackery bready malts, with spicy floral resinous pine. Tastes like wheat, oats, toasty crackery bready malts, some papaya, melon rind, mango skin, strawberry, pineapple, grapefruit pith, orange citrus peel, with dank earthy herbal grass and spicy floral resinous pine. Feels medium bodied, creamy with moderate low carbonation. Overall a nice pale ale.
