Pale, hazy, straw color, no head but some lacing.
Smell is earthy, woodsy, fairly herbal. Unusual
Taste is citrus, pineapple, melon, with a hint of earthy herbal
Feel is smoot, light, refreshing
It is an interesting kind of one off. The balance is a bit off. But good.

Huge, overflowing large-bubbled head. As it settles it leaves wide swaths of chunky streaks on the glass. The liquid is very cloudy which gives an appearance of whitish, golden color.
Mostly malt aroma. There’s a bit of cardboard with a dry wood element. The hop is subtle and floral. Pleasant but mild.
The taste is far more bitter than the smell. Not quite harsh, but the black pepper and alcohol warmth dominate. Interestingly, the malt, while very soft up front, becomes stronger up to the swallow. Good body with an elevated carbonation level.

Picked up a can of this at the brewery last week.
A - Poured into my Duvel tulip a nice hazy pale golden hue with a big two figner head that fades nice and slow to leave sticky lacing and a light blanket with a creamy thick halo.
S - Aromas of melon, dried apricots, dried papaya, dried mango. Really great tropical fruit notes. Little gristy wheat, flashes of generic citrus.
T - Taste is not nearly as nice as the nose. Very, very herbal tea like, some generic citrus peel and orange, flashes of almost chewy and sweet dried apricot mango and papaya. The herbal notes, followed by some spicy hops, overshadow the lovely dried tropical fruits.
M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, decent body, though perhaps a bit thin.
O - Overall the appearance and aroma was just great on this, but unfortunately the taste didn't quite match that. Spicy and herbal hop flavour cut in to the really really nice dried tropical fruit profile. Still, a solid APA though.

Canned 6/28 "say anything"
Pours a mild fizzy bubbly head that fades at a med pace, a touch of lacing, murky blond vanilla cake color
Nose a bit citrus and tropical, but more of a musty tropical fruit, some papaya mango skin, puree tropical fruit, generic citrus as well, Clementine, little juicy tangerine, faint gristy wheat/ malt
Taste brings a lot of pith, like orange and grapefruit pith, creamy wheat and oats, a bit gristy malt, touch of sweetness, into some tropical notes again, touch of pineapple and mango, bit of citrus and clementine/tangerine again, mild to fair bitterness ramping to a mild spicy grassy hop fair bitterness on the drier finish
Mouth is med bod, bit creamy mild soft, decent carb
Overall a nice pale, nothing crazy but fairly enjoyable, good grist, nice hop characters, not a super juicy tropical NEIPA but a nice pale in it's own category.
