Our Anniversary Ale is an IPA with a reddish hue from the addition of Bestmalz Red X Malt. We hopped this beast fairly excessively with Simcoe and High Oil Cascade. We promise.... You'll dig it!

Tap at the brewery
Big creamy fluffy head retains forever, sticky lacing, murky auburn brown colour
Nose huge hop profile, a citrusy floral cascade note, spicy little dank, fresh hop juice, grapefruit rind, orange zest, little candy sweet malt,
Taste big hops, fresh hop juice hop oils, citrusy, grapefruit, orange zest, a little spicy, bit of stone fruit, fair bitterness, little earthy soil and faint dank pine, sweet candy malt base, big old school East coast style. Lingering spicy hop and citrus peel lingering.
Mouth is med bod, decent carb, little thicker
Overall interesting, big beer, pretty nice hops, good balance between big hops and sweet malt, enjoyable.

Enjoyed at the first year Anniversary party. Congratulation Matt!
A - Poured a nice super hazy caramel hue with a thin head that fades slowly.
S - Aromas of nicely aggressive hops. Little bit of caramel malts. Some nice fruity/earthy notes. Solid pine bitterness and grassy hops.
T - Taste is similar to the nose, hop explosion. Really aggressive here, loads of pine and bitterness. Tastes like how an ipa used to taste before everyone became obsessed with "New England style". Light caramel, almost a spicy rye going on. Excellent bitterness. Really really nice with a fruitiness on the finish as well.
M - Mouthfeel is nicely carbonated, crisp, clean with an excellent bitterness.
O - Overall this was an excellent ipa. The hops are very nicely used here. The pine notes are just lovely with a good fruity element to balance. Top notch beer worthy of a first anniversary.
