Enjoyed at the first year anniversary party. Congratulation Matt!
A - Poured a nice clear golden hue with a thin white head that fades to leave light wisps and a thin halo.
S - Aromas of light toasted oak, very very faint vinous notes. Light malts, some cracker grains. Good lactic tartness and some creamy wheat. Nice yeast notes without being ester heavy.
T - Taste is similar to the nose, the wine notes are really subtle and do more to round everything out. Light tartness. Some solid bready malts and grains, nice funky brett, little lemons, creamy wheat. Almost yogurt like tartness. Belgian yeast comes through on the finish. Quite balanced.
M - Mouthfeel is nicely carbonated, crisp, clean.
O - Overall this was a solid wild ale from Matt Steinberg. Everything was nicely balanced and well rounded. Enjoyable on a cool end of summer day.
