Tap at the release party.
Huge fluffy creamy mocha head, tons of lacing pitch black color, long legs
Nose loads of fresh barrel, loads of bourbon barrel juice, buttery oak, nice cocoa, biscuity chocolate cookie wafer, caramel cream toffee, dark choc fudge.
Taste big rich creamy stout, dark choc cocoa, fudgey caramel cream and toffee notes, little cookie dough wafer again, then bourbon barrel, mild buttery oak, some bourbon juice less than the nose, lush nougat, velvety, nice bitter earthy spicy hops, and bit of the roast, sticky finish, lingering bitterness and dark choc bourbon lingering.
Mouth is thicker chewy velvety creamy nougat, decent carb no booze
Overall incredible.

Enjoyed at the release party. 100% of the proceeds go to Home For Our Troops . The base is Sunday Paper, without the coffee, aged in Brooklyn Rye and Corn whiskey barrels.
A - Poured into a standard tulip a nice dark black hue with a nice fat one finger tan head that fades to leave a nice blanket and a light halo. Excellent legs.
S - Aromas of roast malts, nice chocolate syrup, bakers chocolate, light fudge little bit of vanilla as well. Nice oaky barrel notes along with some underlying whiskey notes.
T - Taste is similar to the nose, lovely chocolate notes, good sweeter chocolate syrup notes, nice vanilla from the barrels, chocolate is nice and dark, almost like dry bakers chocolate, little bit of fudge. The whiskey flavour is nice and well rounded and offers just a little bit of whiskey heat on the finish. Really nice oak characteristics and that oaky vanilla barrel comes through quite nicely.
M - Mouthfeel is nicely carbonated, alcohol hidden nicely, creamy little fluffy.
O - Overall this was a very solid imperial stout. The barrels are used really well here and the base beer is solid as always. Very nicely represented.
