Saison yeast, peaches and our house lacto blend. Getting mostly saison yeast esters, less lacto and even less peach. Boo. A slight peach and lacto aroma. Ugh. These always sound better than they taste. Probably the last Leitmotif I'll be suckered into buying.

Picked up a can of this at Julio's.

A - Poured into my Duvel tulip a nice slightly hazy lemony gold hue with a one finger white head that faded very quickly to leave thin light wisps.

S - Aromas of some light toasted wheat/grains, decent saison yeast, creamy lacto notes, peach gummy candies, nice tart stone fruit pit notes. Nice fuzzy peach skins as well.

T - Taste is similar to the nose. Almost berliner like. Creamy wheat and lacto notes before giving way to nice soft peach notes. Not super juicy, more peach gummies or melted peach creamsicle. Just a little bit of funk and lemons. Finish has a bit of doughy yeast before mixing in with some slightly sweet slightly tart peach skin.

M - Mouthfeel is rather lowly carbonated and lighter bodied.

O - Overall this was a solid 'kettle sour' with peaches. Nice fruit notes. The past couple cans I've had though were really under carbonated, which isn't the case when on tap. Very odd. No idea what song is on the label. I've played it on the sax and have no clue.

Pint can, dated 12/7/17.

Hazy golden straw color, slight head quickly turns into a film with some lacing. Lots of tiny carbonation bubbles. Peachy mild fruit aroma. Taste is just very slightly tart, some peachy sweetness. Mouthfeel is very juicy, a little foamy. Overall, this was pretty good but something needs to be done to give it more character in some direction. Make it more sour, bump the ABV up some. As is, it is too watery and too quick to drink.

Can I grabbed at the brewery and literally just got home with it, canned 12/07/17

Pours a light fizzy bubbly smaller head that fades semi quickly, a fair amount of lacing, very hazy murky lemon color

Nose lots of lemon and citrusy stone fruit, mild fresh peaches, tart creamy acidity, lacto, lemony and a bit of a young tangerine, peach comes out more as it warms, apricot and peaches and cream

Taste creamy citrus and stone fruit, some peaches and cream, apricot puree, tart lemon meringue pie, lacto tart sour acidity but not flemmy and only a little funk very late, berlineer weisse like tartness and creamy wheat with a little bready doughy wheat, some citrus young tangerine like too, with a mild dry finish, bit of bitterness, big lingering lemon meringue pie, peaches/apricot and cream, and a little bready doughy mild flemmy acidity

Mouth is med to lighter bod, lighter carb, fair acidity, a little flemmy

Overall not bad, a nice fruit and tartness blend, very light drinking with good creamy and wheat base, would be a nice summer or spring beer, enjoyable. Can't figure out the song on the label just yet, but I'm sure I will after I hammer it out on the piano.
