Styles be damned! We are calling this beer a MetroWest Coast Creekside IPA. What is that? We don’t know either. But this beer was designed around Idaho 7 hops and also features some Mandarina Bavaria. Citrus, hints of strawberry and field herbs showcase prominently in the flavor and aroma

My only comment is that this might be the ugliest hazy, hoppy beer that I have ever had, the color of a faint green sludge. Will I turn into Swamp Thing after drinking this beer?

Picked up a can of this at the brewery while up there for the Swordfish bottle release.

A - Poured into my Duvel tulip an murky unfortunate color...like someone mixed some rust infused mud in to a nice golden IPA. Head was almost two fingers and faded slowly but man alive is that color ugly.

S - Aromas of nice citrus juice, little flashes of pineapple. Nice almost juicy fruit bubblegum, some dankness and a bit of grapefruit.

T - Taste is similar to the nose with some decent citrus juice and just a bit of green pineapple. Surprising amount of spicy piney hops as well. Little bit of herbal notes going on as well. If one goes searching a little pop of strawberry comes up too. Finish is more lingering pine and grapefruit bitterness.

M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated and lighter bodied too, slightly crisp on the finish.

O - Overall this beer was a bit disappointing. The nose on it was really, really enjoyable but the taste did not live up to that. Combined with a really odd colour and a thinner mouthfeel it just fell flat. Maybe some more malts would beef up the body of this and round things out.

Good looking beer, canned 5/1/18, great theme too
Pours a mild fizzy head that fades semi quickly, a fair amount of lacing, super murky burnt orange color

Nose is big, loads of hops, a little pine sap, plenty of citrus, a grapefruit pine blend, with some rind and pith, some dank green hops, a little grassy and spicy,

Taste more citrus, tons of pith and orange juice pulp, grapefruit pith, lots of citrus hop water like as there isn't much malt to back it up, fair bitterness throughout, a little pineapple skin and green fruit hops, a little dankness, chewy spicy hops later, like chewing on hop pellets, spicy grassy late on the drier finish, pretty bitter

Mouth is lighter bod, decent carb, a touch of soft creaminess

Overall OK but feel like it needs a bit more malt to bring out more body and prop up the hops a bit more, but nice hop profile and fairly tasty other than the balance.

Dated 5/1/18 on the bottom rim of the can, 5 days old.

Pours a completely opaque golden brown in the glass with a finger of of creamy head. Nose is a complex mix of juicy fruit. Starts off with mandarin orange, strawberry marmalade, cardamom tea, a mix of herbs (sage, coriander, mint, dill, lemongrass), bubblegum, lemon, peach and a multi-grain bread malt. I am in love with the aroma of this beer. Taste follows all the notes of the nose, a complex mix of sweet fresh fruit, fresh herbs from the garden and fresh multi-grain bread. Mouthfeel is medium with low bitterness and almost no drying. One of those unique creations that reminds you of going to in a backyard garden, picking fresh fruit and mixing it with fresh herbs. I need to get more of these before they sell out.

This brew reminds me of the Borg Brugghús and Lamplighter collab called Sneaker Wave. Absolutely wonderful.
