This is the latest entry in our ongoing kettle sour series and features Cape Cod Cranberries. It pours a rosy pink hue with a subtle aroma of lactic acidity. The tannic sourness of cranberries drives the flavor profile – accompanied by the subtle grassiness of our house saison yeast with a light body and dry finish. The perfect accompaniment to a Thanksgiving or holiday meal.

Tall can direct from the source a few months ago, lovingly stored/aged in the back of the fridge since then.
Pours with a light haze, soft with an inviting pink lemonade hue.
Sweet lemon and lime on the sniff.
Bright and refreshing quafer, more lemon/lime with some mildly tart and sweet cherry/cranberry notes also present. Nicely done

Picked up a can of this at the brewery.
A - Poured into my Duvel tulip a nice just slightly hazy pinkish golden hue with a thin half finger head that fades to leave light wisps and a thin halo.
S - Aromas of super, super faint tart cranberries and a decent amount of yogurt creaminess. Decent amount of grain notes going on here as well.
T - Taste is similar to the nose with decent enough tart cranberries, slightly juicy. Fair amount of funk going on here; just loads of lacto. I don't get much belgian notes.
M - Mouthfeel is really, really lightly carbonated. Finish is crisp but the body is super light and drinks quite thin.
O - Overall this was a nice, easy drinking pleasantly tart beer. That being said it's really lacto forward and the body is just really, really average. Has it's merits but I wouldn't go for it again.

Very large, big bubbled head that subsides very quickly. Nearly no lace. The liquid is "dirty" and looks a lot like pink grapefruit juice.
Sugary sweet aroma, almost like a soda pop. I did detect cranberries initially but they fade to black on subsequent whiffs.
The flavor is predominately sour, a bit like pomegranates. The body is thin and the carbonation is high--the feel is also like soda pop. The finish remains tart and lasts a long time after the swallow is complete. This is not a complicated beer, although if you like sours, you may like this one.

Pours a slight pinkish fizzy head that hits a finger before quickly fading back to almost nothing, almost no lacing, but typical for style, hazy pink grapefruit color
Nose is quite Berlinerweisse like, creamy doughy wheat, creamy but acidic tart lacto funk, yeasty bread dough, little tart lemony hint of tart cranberry too
Taste comes on quite sour, big tart sourness with more lacto creamy sour funk and a a bit of tingly acidity, then tart cranberry which gives that mouth drying astringent feel, big cranberry juice like flavor (the real stuff not the mixed stuff), mild bready doughy wheat base and a touch yeasty dough, a bit of a bready finish, acidic tartness a bit flemmy and a little astringent drying feel
Mouth is med to lighter bod, a little creamy but also acidic tartness and quite sour, a touch astringent cranberry note, decent carb
Overall a very refreshing but tart juicy sour and tasty beer, nice Berliner style with good use of cranberries that actually come through

A: The beer is hazy reddish yellow in color and has a moderate to high amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that quickly died down, leaving some patches of bubbles on the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light aromas of green grapes are present in the nose along with notes of cranberries.
T: The taste follow the smell, having stronger flavors of green grapes and cranberries and a light amount of sourness. Hints of yogurt-like lactobacillus are also noticeable.
M: It feels medium-bodied and slightly tart on the palate with a moderate to high amount of carbonation and faint bits of creaminess.
O: I thought that this wild ale would showcase more of the flavors and tartness of the cranberries (or at least the sourness) and it did neither. With the subtleness of the cranberries, someone who doesn't like cranberry juice might try giving this one a try.
