Our first lager! This pale lager features Pilsner and Vienna malt from Valley Malt along with German Hallertau and Mandarina Bavaria hops. Nice bready malt sweetness leads to a light, refreshing German hop bitterness. Nice carbonation and a dry finish make this your next favorite summer beer.

Poured a cloudy golden color with a 2F head in a Pilsener glass.

Aroma: Fruity esters, some apricot, sweet.

Mild MF.

Fruity esters are more pronounced in the taste.

Mild bitterness, dry finish.

Excellent beer. I’m big fan of the brewery. Their first lager. Pilsner and Vienna Malt from Valley malt, plus Bavarian Mandarina (one of my favorites) and Hallertau hops combine for an excellent Lager.

Thanks to JLindros for hooking me up with a can.

A - Poured into my Duvel tulip a nice crystal golden hue with a thin white head that faded to leave light wisps. Not much retention.

S - Aromas of soft fruity hops, little bit of floral grassy notes and a touch of malts.

T - Taste is similar to the nose with some crisper lager notes, slightly sweet malts. There are some softer fruity and floral notes as well as some earthy notes as well. As it warms it becomes a bit more fruity.

M - Mouthfeel is nicely carbonated, crisp, clean.

O - Overall this was a solid lager, balanced and soft but it definitely tries to straddle the line of being a malt forward lager and a hop forward one.

Draft at the brewery
Big foamy dense head with great retention, and lacing, crystal clear pale slight golden color

Nose on the lighter side but nice fruity hops, little citrus, slight floral grassy, clean lager hint of malt

Taste soft crisp lager base, light lager malt grainy almost doughy, but not cereal or pilsner grain, light hops with some fruity citrusy notes, light floral, lighter bitterness, soft clean lager, dry finish touch more bitterness and floral earthy hop, a bit of cereal grain as it warms, more fruity characters too

Mouth is med to lighter bod but soft lager feel, medium carb

Overall solid pale lager, as expected no bad lager flavors, nice outfit balanced hops, easy drinking summer beer although I personally would prefer either more malt forward or hop forward profile but still a well done lager
