Canned 2021/03/21
Pours a med foamy frothy 1 finger off-white head with moderate retention, a bit of lacing, mostly clear slight chill haze golden honey blonde color
Nose plenty of hops, citrus, zest, a bit of stone fruit, spicy, plenty of honey as well in there, some sweet malt,
Taste brings more hops out front, citrus and orange zest, more stone fruit, candied stone fruit, apricot and tangerine, getting a touch spicy and faint piney resin on the back end, sweet malt base but clean malt, some honey as well, and honey sweetness so I think it was back sweetened with the honey, med-lighter bitterness up front, then med to higher on the back end with drier finish
Mouth is med to a bit fuller bod, higher frothy carb
Overall good IPA, thankfully they delivered the promised West Coast style and not a faux NEIPA, bitterness in check so not overpowering like the IPAs started to get, enough malt to support as it should, and even the honey was detectable
