Slightly hazed coppery red brew. Moderate short-lived head that settles to a ring. A little bit of lace, Malty bready nose with a bit of alcohol lurking in the background. Noticeable sweet caramel. Appetizing. Malty and bready to taste, Sweet with a bit of bite. Slightly bitter finish. Enjoyable overall. Drinkable.

355 ml can served cold into a pint glass. LCBo purchase for about $15 CDN for a six pack.

Appearance - Mostly clear, dark copper color with two plus fingers of decadent white head. Good lacing and lots of bubbles.

Smell - Lots of grain, bready notes, subtle caramel malt with a sprinkle of fall leaves.

Taste - Medium bitterness, lots of bready flavors, extending to crackery and doughy.

Mouthfeel - Easy drinking, medium bodied, good expressive carbonation and easy to quaff.

Overall - A well done example of a classic fall style. Worth the six pack and compares well with Munich to My Ears by Muskoka, another solid choice for your Oktoberfest and Marzen needs this fall.

Can (from a six pack that LCBO refused to sell singles from) - pours a clear copper-amber color with a 1 finger off white cap that reduced almost immediately to a surface lace....aroma is demure, some bready-toastiness with some grassy-wet hay hopping...well attenuated and rounded, good conditioning...very subtle....Flavor is well balanced with pleasant toasty maltiness in front and woody-earthy noble hop balance...goes fully dry and grassy in the finish...decent marzen...a tad thin for the style but still satisfying and quenching....although the 355ml cans are a bit of a ripoff you need a few of these to get the full marzen genre experience.

Pours a nice copper colour with not much of a head. Smell is malty and earthy. The taste adds a bit of hops and grassy notes. Slightly sweet. Overall a nice harvest-style beer

Copper orange with a little carbonation, and topped with two fingers of yellowish, foamy head.

Smells of dry dog food, malt, and a little hops when you try hard.

The taste is like a typical Oktoberfest, in a good way, with hints of the dry dog food.

Medium, slightly syrupy body, and a little carbonation.

Overall its a good rep of an Marzen brew, just a few strange notes as I mentioned. Drinking in Muskoka, Dec 16th, 2017.

355 mL can from the LCBO; pulled from a six pack. Canned Sept 27 2017 and served slightly chilled. Reviewed on my phone.

Pours a clear copper amber colour, capped off with one finger of short-lived, off-white tinged foam. Within 90 seconds it has been reduced to a thin collar; no cap or lacing. Straightforward aroma with caramelized malts and toasted bread; slight hints of nuts and herbal hops. Good balance; not too sweet.

This is a pleasant, approachable märzen lager; it tastes of toasted grains, biscuits and caramelized malt sweetness, in particular. Noble hops assert themselves on the back end by imparting some herbal, grassy notes. Mildly bittersweet aftertaste with flavors of toasted grain lingering briefly into the aftertaste. Medium light in body with moderate carbonation levels that give this brew good crisp bite. Easy drinking, as the style tends to be.

Final Grade: 3.77, a B+. Anderson Autumn is a fine Oktoberfest-style lager - although I'd figure that this small can probably won't be enough to fill your stein to the brim, or to satiate your thirst in one serving. Thankfully, it's sold in six pack form! Like Anderson's other seasonal labels - at least, the three I've now tried - Autumn is a bit mild in flavour and fairly unassuming, but still quite well made and very drinkable. Looking forward to trying Winter in the near future.
