This ultra-dry beer puts all the emphasis on the hops, bursting with flavours of peach, orange, lime, papaya, and tropical fruits.

Very hazy yellow, beautiful white foam.
Fresh smell, hoppy, grassy, citrussy (grape fruit and lime), some piney note.
Clean taste, again a lot of grapefruit, on a light malty base.
Very dry.
Light body, a good bitterness.
Again citrus aftertaste, then even some tropical notes, pineapple and papaya.
Gfresh and interesting.

London, August 2019. Hazy pale yellow with a strong head. Tropical, peachy hop nose. Light effervescent body with typical very dry brut finish. Encourages another sip.

355 mL can from a six-pack purchased at the LCBO; dated May 7 2019 and served barely chilled.
Pours a hazy straw yellow colour, giving rise to one finger of frothy white head that lingers for less than three minutes. A soapy collar remains in place alongside a messy swath of lace; it's a fine-looking glass of beer. On the nose I'm getting distinct notes of orange, grapefruit, melon, peach and pear, accompanied by vaguer suggestions of white wine, grainy malts and tropical fruits.
A pleasant little sipper; the flavour profile doesn't stray far from the aroma, with peach and pear, as well as melon, passion fruit, white wine and papaya coming through at the front end of the sip. Citrusy flavours of orange and grapefruit pith develop towards the back end, with a brief pulse of earthy, floral bitterness preceding an exceedingly dry aftertaste. On the lighter side of medium bodied, with moderately assertive carbonation that starts off crisp and prickly, but exhausts itself relatively quickly, resulting in a smoother mouthfeel over time. More drinkable than most IPAs, with the dry tail end and restrained bitterness being the major factors involved, IMO.
Final Grade: 3.88, a B+. I won't pretend to have all that much past experience with Brut IPAs, but I will say that Anderson's is a solid one. Its fruity hop flavours are varied and approachable, while its dryness helps to distinguish it from 99% of the other IPAs you can find in Ontario these days. I'm not sure if I'd take this over their standard IPA, but that's mostly just personal preference - they're both very good beers that are well worth sampling if you can find them.
