At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, 473mL in a pint glass. From my favourite LCBO at Tecumseh Mall in nearby Windsor. Canned August 20/25. My seventh beer from the London, Ontario brewery, and fifth for 2025. Appreciated by Gracie the cat...

Hazy Blonde in colour, a tall rocky head with good retention. Hop forward citrus aroma. A Lively carbonation balanced body with a hint of astringency.

355 ml can served cold into a pint glass. Picked up a 6 pack from the LCBO for something north of $3 / can. Canned July 15, 2020.

Appearance - Super hazy, milky orange - nearly creamsicle colored with yellowy hues. Two fingers of tight foamy head that stay awhile and leave plenty of spidery lacing behind.

Smell - Big nose and very tropical, papaya, and lychee lead the way with some cantaloupe mixed in. Mango and passionfruit also show up. Definitely son the sweeter and juicier side of things.

Taste - Mild initially then a burst of grapefruit and mango and papaya, mostly grapefruit and hints of other citrus. Rich but light malt backbone keeping things together. Finishes with lots of grapefruit and more bitter than the IBU count would indicate. Quite weedy after a few sips with the grapefruit and hops really taking over.

Mouthfeel - Medium bodied, lightly carbonated, pretty easy to drink. Some astringency on the close combined with bitterness, makes this a bit less easy to knock back quickly, but still enjoyable.

Overall - Very solid IPA that I'm glad to have picked up the 6 pack of as it is a tasty brew that is quite quaffable in this hot weather. I was initially skeptical, given I hadn't heard anything about these guys, but with at least a solid IPA under their belts, I'm more than willing to give more beers by these guys a shot.

355 mL can from a sixer purchased at the LCBO; dated Apr 8 2020 and served barely chilled.

Anderson already has a 'Hazy IPA', but its Juicy brethren could easily be mistaken for the same - it's a muddy, cloudy, golden yellow-coloured brew, initially graced with one finger of soapy, bubbly white head that lasts for little more than a minute or two. Afterwards, a webby mess of lacing has been splattered against the glass, with a thin collar being the only other remnant of note. I'm getting mandarin orange, grapefruit, mango, nectarine and passion fruit on the nose, with just a hint of lychee and melon - quite juicy and appealing.

A delicious 'juicy' IPA that delivers as advertised - there's plenty of grapefruit, orange, mango and passion fruit up front, with pithy, resiny hops and stone fruit juiciness lingering on through the finish and into the aftertaste. Medium-full in body, with mild carbonation that gently tickles the tongue, and a smooth, creamy texture. Tasty, but quite acidic - and not in the 'sour' sense: it's just loaded with hop acids. Even still, I found this quite drinkable given its strength - a six-pack would really be pushing it, but several servings of this in a row might be fine with me.

Final Grade: 4.02, an A-. Anderson's Juicy IPA may or may not be their best hoppy pale ale, depending on your preferences. I'd take this over their Hazy IPA or Brut IPA, but their standard flagship IPA is still a fantastic offering that gives this brew a good run for its money. Sibling beer comparisons aside, I recommend trying this beer as soon as possible if your local is stocked with these sixers.
