Handsome hazy pale yellow. Moderate soapy looking head with lots of lace as you go. Appetizing fruity nose of grapefruit and pineapple. Some odd medicinal note as well - kind of a Vicks VapoRub thing going? Grapefruit and pineapple to taste. The oats are quite distinct and noticeable (in a good way). Has considerable bite on the palate, almost spicy. Something a little different.

355 mL can from a six-pack purchased at the LCBO; dated Jul 13 2022 and served barely chilled.
Pours a turbid, pale straw yellow colour, topped with just over an inch of soapy, bubbly white head that collapses within two or three minutes' time. A spotty coat of lace is speckled about in the process, with a sudsy collar and filmy cap remaining in place. Peach, orange and pineapple on the nose, with hints of grapefruit, grassy hops and grape juice.
Its flavours are along the same lines - I'm getting lemon and grapefruit citrus at the forefront, with pineapple, passion fruit and underripe peach tartness; there is some semblance of a wheaty, grainy malt backbone buried underneath. Finishes with grassy, herbal hops and pithy hop bitterness that transitions into an aftertaste of stone fruit and pineapple. Medium in body, with lively carbonation that adds some zip to this brew's smooth, somewhat fluffy mouthfeel; easy to toss back, but not necessarily something I'd drink all night.
Final Grade: 3.79, a B+. Anderson's Aussie IPA is a well-made pale ale, but I wouldn't say it's as good as their regular IPA - though I suppose big fans of Galaxy-like hops may beg to differ. Good fruit flavours and aromas, moderate bitterness, decent drinkability - it's not the most exciting beer in the world, sure, causing it to sort of blend into the crowd of 'hazy IPAs'. Either way, it's worth a shot if you're able to find a fresh sixer.
