355 mL can from the LCBO, included in Anderson's Lager Mix Six pack. Dated Feb 12 2024 and served slightly chilled. This review is cobbled together from notes scribbled last summer.

Pours clear and effervescent, its golden yellow-hued body supporting one finger of loose, sudsy white head that disintegrates within two minutes. Its remnants include a frothy collar and a patch of film on the surface; minimal lace production. Bog standard craft lager aroma of grainy barley malts and corn chips; not exactly inspired, but otherwise clean and inoffensive.

The same can be said of its flavour profile: mostly grainy, with corn chips and some cereal sweetness also coming through. I'm not getting much of a hop presence. Grainy, cereal-sweet conclusion that trends off-dry in the aftertaste. Relatively light bodied, with assertive carbonation that adds a sharp bite early on in the session; the mouthfeel is smooth and crisp. It's really easy to drink, but does little to differentiate itself from other similar such lagers.

Final Grade: 3.39, a passable B-. I mean, sure, it's better than Corona... but it seems like every craft brewery is producing a 'Mexican lager' these days, and Anderson's Cerveza is just another middling boilerplate example of this fad. Nothing wrong with it, i.e. I can drink it without a fuss, but there's no compelling reason to seek it out specifically. That being said, if you live near London and enjoy Mexican lagers, I'd encourage you to spend your dollars at this locally owned brewery, instead of a Mexican conglomerate owned by AB InBev.

At my lady Pamela's house; canned, from the Lager Mix Six at my favourite LCBO at The Roundhouse Centre in nearby Windsor. My third beer from the London, ON brewery, and first for 2025.
