355 mL can from the LCBO, included in an Anderson mixed pack; no canning date. Served slightly chilled.

Pours a foggy golden-yellow colour, briefly supporting half an inch of loose, bubbly white head that disintegrates rapidly. A few swaths of spotty, stringy lace are scattered about in the process, which leaves behind a thin, sudsy collar and a few wisps on the surface; looks ok to me. The nose is a little boozy, but not distractingly so: notes of grapefruit, mango, mandarin, banana and cantaloupe are apparent, with suggestions of berries, fruit cup syrup and dank, resiny hops.

It's a tasty triple IPA, and the booze is thankfully quite well-integrated. Syrupy fruit cup sweetness and bready malts provide the scaffolding, with flavours of mandarin orange, pineapple, mango and grapefruit figuring in prominently. I'm also getting suggestions of melon and maraschino cherry, with candied orange peel, grapefruit pith and dank, floral hop bitterness dissipating into a sweet, fruity, boozy aftertaste. Full-bodied - feels thick, maybe even borderline syrupy at times, with low carbonation and a soft, smooth, satisfying mouthfeel. Much more drinkable than it has any right to be.

Final Grade: 4.1, a very respectable A-. Anderson's 3x IPA is better than most of the Ontario triple IPAs I've tried in recent memory. Quite sweet for the style, which turns out to be a good thing - it helps integrate that beastly abv, while also acting as a counterweight to the hop bitterness, making for a dangerously drinkable brew. Good thing it's packaged in short cans! I would definitely buy this again as a single, but a six-pack seems like a stretch.

Canned 6 months prior to drinking. From LCBO. Pours lots of foam. Not to much lacing left behind but there is some, and a little white foam cap is kept for the entire drink. Hazy with yeast floating around. Nice gold color.
Taste is pretty good. Still has some residue sugar in it which makes it slightly sweet. Pretty smooth to drink for a 10.8% IPA.
I'm liking this one overall. A little hoppy bitterness but not too much. A little floral, with a honey like flavor. This is a solid Triple from Anderson Craft Ales. I'd like to see what else they got.
