Dark amber with a reddish tint, initially a couple fingers of foam that rapidly fizzles away, leaving no lace behind.
Sour acidic berry aroma, dark fruit vinaigrette.
Taste is sharply sour with hints of blueberry in the aftertaste. Moderately acetic, with a momentary sharp vinegar burn in the back of the throat. Could use more funk and barrel character, as there isn’t much. It’s a fairly one dimensional sourness, and the blueberries take a backseat. It’s ok for what it is, but more balance and nuance would be nice.
