12 ounce can into a snifter. 6- pack holder stamped 11/26/19, had 7/26/20.

Pours a dark cola color, semi opaque, with a half inch quickly dissipating head and some foamy lacing. Aromas of chocolate, roasted malt, wheat, light smoke, light vanilla. Mostly matching flavors- chocolate, malt, some wheat, light vanilla, a little smoky. Has a decent amount of bitterness for a Belgian style stout. Smooth, a good medium body, well carbonated.

There’s some good chocolate and malt notes, but overall the flavor is just kind of empty. Not awful, just lots of better choices out there.

12 oz can with no date stamp served in a Belgian snifter.
Pours near black with mahogany colored edges and a weak beige head.
As seems common in my reaction to this style of ale, the flavor profile is a bit more funky than I prefer but this is partially countered by the interesting complexity. What's not typical is the level of smokiness and the abundance of wood-like notes.
Smooth, medium-full body with medium-light carbonation.

Can bought at Liquor Shed. No dating. Belgian Style Stout.

Looks black but could be a very dark brown. The tannish foam is short lived.

Smells very roasty with a rather significant presence of coffee. Dark chocolate accompanies.

Taste has coffee, roasted malt, dark chocolate, hints of fruit, and to me, some lactose.

Close to medium bodied with lightish carbonation.

An okay beer.
