when i rolled in here, i wasnt sure if all the beers would be amateur ones or not, but it turns out they have a professional system and house brewer who crafts the beers for the bar, which i think is a good thing, not that i dont want to see what the local homebrewers are up to, but its nice to have a consistency of sorts here. this is a solid belgian pale, simple and familiar, but very well made as they go. it has all the elements, a nice bright estery yeast complexion, a pale but flavorful semi dry malt base, and a nice fresh hop complexion thats both citrusy tasting and quite bitter, a balanced beer to say the least, even a little tame, but its highly drinkable and artfully done. its nice to have the yeast not run away with it, and to still bring a pretty good hop kick to the finish. it has great carbonation too, and looks pretty in the glass, golden, almost crystal clear, and very foamy. this was my favorite of the three house beers i had in here by quite a margin. these guys are providing a neat service in this area, and i really hope they do well!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
