L: Pours dark, impenetrable black/chocolate. Forms a thin espresso head, quick to fade. Held to the light, an opaque jet black.
S: Spices are readily apparent on the nose, with vanilla, cinnamon, and sweet spice. Hint of bourbon barrel and dark chocolate, and a flourish of medium-roast coffee.
T: A heavy serving of dark chocolate, some lactose, and coffee. Notes of spice and cacao nibs, with hints of vanilla and some faint graham crackers in the finish.
F: Full-bodied. Thick, oily, slick mouthfeel. Light carbonation.
O: Outstanding imperial milk stout. Not too sweet, balanced profile. Worth the purchase.
