From tasting notes 11/19/19
Had on-tap at Claimstake Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in a Willi pint, murky and orange in color with a thick ring around the edge of the glass. A few small spots make for a sparse lacing.
Smell - Fruity aroma with a bit of tartness, featuring a whole bunch of stonefruit throughout.
Taste - Follows the nose. Fair tartness upfront, then smooths out to a plethora of fruity stonefruit notes as it develops. Nutty stonefruit pit adds some bittering balance in the finish. Balanced notes of the aforementioned in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel - Medium-to-full in body with fair, slightly bitey carbonation. Smooth and creamy before a mostly dry finish.
Overall - Really nice fruited IPA. Almost has a milkshake quality to it. I'm sad to see You Know Me, Bobby has kicked, but this makes for a fine consolation.
