Had on-tap at Claimstake Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in a willi pint fair haze and straw yellow in color with a thin, broken layer of suds covering the surface, and a ring around the edge. Light lacing, with a few small lines and tiny spotting.
Smell - Sweet cereal aroma with light notes of lemon and honey. Trace of grain.
Taste - Follows the nose. Light, but packed with flavor. Cereal sweetness, light lemony brightness, touch of honey and a fair, underlying grain note.
Mouthfeel - Light in body with decent carbonation. Slick, crisp and easy drinker. Refreshing.
Overall - At only 4.7% ABV, this packs some serious flavor. One of my favorite new lagers I've had in quite a long time.
