Milky platinum blonde + piles of dense, snowy foam that rims; lemon sorbet, honeydew, Weetina, bubble gum + basil on the nose; doughy starter, candied lemon, white pepper, poached pears, canary melon, tangelo, lemon verbena, and a bit of hay; creamy, smooth, round.

Holy loveliness.
All the classic notes of a saison - herb, spice, citrus, fruit - in flowing dance; not a jagged point of pepper or rind anywhere. Add to that seamlessly melded hops (which ones, I wish I knew) that only highlight + enhance that same yeast character; I’d never know there was DHing if I hadn’t read the label.
Wrap that in a silky oatmeal (again, guessing) body + this is a pure winner.
In the same way that Westmalle Tripel is more complex but Karmeliet is more drinkable, this is not big so much as graceful, and to good effect.
Possibly Whiplash’s best non-IPA.
