Opaque amber in colour. Only a ring after a aggressively bubbly pour, but surprisingly still lots of lace in the early going. Very active carbonation if you peer through the haze. Funky, yeasty saison nose followed up with the distinctiveness of meyer lemon. Earthy and sharp both. Interesting. Prickly on the palate from carbonation. Sharp and sour. Yeast and grain up front is almost immediately beat down by the lemon fruit and lemon rind. After that the yeast and the lemon want to duke it out in your mouth with lingering funk and lingering lemon.

This is a rather aggressive beer and will not be to all tastes. If you enjoy sours or saisons, you'll have your head at least halfway wrapped around this one. A serious WTF moment for drinkers of tamer stuff. High ABV is well stashed away in this one and will simply creep up on you as you work your way down the glass. The saison character of the beer starts to dominate as the beer warms.

For the daring, maybe.
