Pours black, and bonus for the head considering it was from a crowler. A little of the bourbon on the nose, so was pretty impressed with the taste explosion that followed. Really good barrel characteristics put this beer in the "really good BA stout category" in my book. Fuller body give it nice staying power in the aftertaste department. And this beer comes from Nebraska to boot!

On tap poured into a snifter.
Appearance - Black in color.
Smell - Templeton Rye and chocolate!
Taste - Roasty chocolate soup. Alcohol is well hidden.
Mouthfeel - Low carbonation. Medium-Full body.
Overall - It's strength is its balance. Could be a touch more viscous...
