This one pours a dark black color, with a small head, and not much lacing.
This smells like intensely jammy raspberry and berry in general, with some milk chocolate and not much else.
In a vacuum, this is pretty tasty, as raspberry is a tasty food, and there's more than a lot of it here. But as stouts go, this feels a little wonky, as the raspberry just dominates here and leaves nothing else to the palate. I don't really get any barrel, maybe a little bit of chocolate, and very little vanilla. Fruited stouts are very hard to pull off, but the balance is just out of whack here.
This is creamy, and jammy feeling on the palate, with no real booziness to it.
This is just a confusing beer. It's definitely too heavy on the raspberry and too light on really anything else. The raspberry itself is tasty and done well, and almost feels like something New Glarus would do. I just want a second flavor, any flavor, to come in play here.

On tap at the brewery poured into a snifter.
Look: Moter Oil.
Smell: Fresh Black Forest Raspberry Torte!! Great nose!
Taste: Huge Raspberry first then chocolate and vanilla followed by a hint of the barrel. Absolutely fantastic!
Mouthfeel: Moter Oil.
