On tap at Brooklyn Brewery, NY
Pours a clear golden color with visible and light carbonation. A moderate head soon dissipates.
The aroma has notes of berries and passion fruit. Further into the drink there are light notes of dank aromatics.
There are elements of the taste that are juicy but not quite like a NEIPA. Notes of berries and passion fruit are complimented by touches of pine, resin and a light bitterness. There is a light tartness, especially in the finish.
Medium bodied, crisp and with a prickly carbonation.
This drink was somewhat like a classic IPA but with more emphasis on fruity hops flavors and less bracing bitterness. It was ok, however, the tartness bothered me somewhat. I have tremendous respect for Brooklyn Brewery, however, IMHO their interpretations of IPA are not their greatest strength.
