Pours a hazy pale pineapple colored more then anything with a thumb sized off white head from an aggressive pour.
Aroma is lots of old fashioned citrus notes pink grapefruit, orange and pineapple dominate but this hazy one has a citrus grapefruit rind bitterness in the nose that many lack.
Taste is well like the nose but not quite as nice. Fruity citrus notes with pineapple/grapefruit dominating. Bready like malt carry the hops fruity but not as fruity as hazy would have you believe, also the classic grapefruit bitterness in the nose isn't quite up to what I thought.
Mouthfeel is medium with fairly middle of the road carbonation.
Overall eh not bad but not something I would look for to have again.

4-pack of 16 fl oz cans ran me $13.49 USD plus tax at a beer store in New Orleans, LA. From Brooklyn Brewery's San Leandro, CA brewery (I feel odd typing those words as a former Brooklynite).
"Double IPA." 7.5% ABV.
"DRIPPING WITH TROPICAL CITRUS & PINEAPPLE FROM CITRA & EKUANOT HOPS." Brewed with oats. Unfiltered.
A: Looks unfiltered given its turbidity. Hazy orange in colour with a long-lasting (~8 minute) white head that's a bit thinner and less creamy than would be ideal but is by no means bad.
Sm: Lychee, 2-row, indistinct tropical fruit, more lychee.
Aromatic intensity is average for the style.
TASTE & TEXTURE: Light on flavour, bringing slimy lychee and not much else hopwise. 2-row and wheat give this its simple backbone. For an imperial IPA, it just plain isn't hoppy enough. Citra is wasted on it, and I don't taste any of Ekuanot's stronger flavours.
I don't taste any grapefruit or even any citrus beyond some depleted marmalade that isn't particularly enticing.
Smooth, wet, coating, somewhat refreshing, medium-bodied, well carbonated.
OVERALL: A shrug of an IIPA that has the hop pungency of a well brewed pale ale at best. Poor work from 21st Amendment by way of Brooklyn Brewing...not a beer I'd recommend or buy again especially given its high price.

Can. Picked up a single at the store. Art is ummm, not my favorite. Pours pretty hazy. On the VelvetExtract scale of haze, it falls in the high 6's. Aroma is of sharp, musty, slightly degraded grapefruit hops. Flavor is sort of astringent. Sticks to the palate. Just a bit too harsh, gamey. Hops taste a bit old. Just not something I'm going to finish unfortunately.

Very nice grapefruit. Bitter, but not unpleasantly so. Definitely on the citrus end of the citrus/pine scale. Mouthfeel is good, but not excellent, I’m digging it.

I don't why they call it a double IPA and not a New England IPA.
Purchased from a Hannaford's supermarket in Albany NY as a 4-pack of 16 oz cans. Opaque tawny orange color, light head, medium body and delightful citrusy odor. It's a well-balanced very pleasant drink. I really enjoyed it.

16oz can. Poured out a cloudy, golden orange color with a small, off-white head of foam. It smelled of citrus, grapefruit and toasted caramel. Sweet tropical fruit taste with piney bitterness and toasted caramel.

Poured from a 16 ounce can into a pint glass.
Appears a bright orange, with a beautiful foamy head that lasted.
Smells citrusy, orange, grapefruit.
Taste follows the nose, definitely hop forward, not at all overbearing due to:
Mouth feel is medium plus for the style and nice and creamy.
Overall a very nice example of a West Coast style IPA.

16oz can pours hazy golden with a one finger head which is gone fairly quick with some lacing.
Nose is floral, hops , grapefruit, orange peel.
Mouth is grapefruit, hop bitter, orange peel. Juicy with a dry hop bitter finish.
Not an explosive Juice bomb but very drinkable.
