Light copper colored with excellent clarity. There’s a half inch of creamy off white on top. Moderate lacing. The aroma is of pine and lime. I’m tasting lime and pine. The mouth is crisp and faintly sticky.

Copenhagen 19/9 2025. 50 cl can from Netto, Tomsgårdsvej, Kbh. NV. Light blue and green version of Brooklyn Brewery's usual design.

Pours opaque hazy, golden yellow with a small white head. Stable. Settles as 1 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.

Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of stone fruit mingling with sweet citrus fruit and more subtle notes of tart citrus fruit. Peach and apricot. Oranges. Notes of citrus and lime.

Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lively and tingling texture.

Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed and balanced by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter wit a light sweet undertone. Lingers for a bit. Finish is rather dry.

fine for a cool refreshing drink in the park. Nothing more, nothing less.

Found in the IPA for all Mixed Pack

L: 3.5. Run of the mill pale ale coloration. Good carbonation. Small head.
S: 3.75. Malt forward - bready. Tinge of hop greenness
T: 3.75 Slightly peppery. Blend of fruits. Citrus. Berries. Malty bite. Not overly bitter or sweet. Nothing overwhelming. To me this is almost outside of IPA territory and more like a basic pale ale.
F: 3.5. Light mouthfeel. Crisp and refreshing.
O: 3.5. A middle of the pack Pale Ale.

This beer explodes out of the can the second you crack the tab. . . every single time I opened one out of the six pack it made a gigantic mess. It's immediately losing points for being so over carbonated. Seriously I didn't shake it or anything, and they've been sitting in my cold fridge for about a week, they shouldn't explode like that.

Pours a slight orange shade of yellow with a one finger off white head of foam that only slightly laces the glass. Aroma of caramel and slightly musky wet pine needles.

Taste is very refreshing; mostly akin to tea biscuits and white bread upfront - which transitions into sweet flavors of orange and bitter grapefruit rind; with that very distinctive "brooklyn brewery" yeast profile, similar to overripe banana. Musky hop oil on the tail end. Feel is very light and very bubbly. Carbonation level is extremely high.

Overall it's average, it's best trait is how thirst quenching it is, but like I said every single one of these beers I opened exploded which I was quite pissed off about.

Deep gold in the glass, with a nice foam head that holds together. Both citrus and pine in the taste, but kind of a one note beer lacking complexity or a long finish. Decent, but no more than that.

First impression of a 12 fl oz pull-tab can (included in their IPA for all 12 pack variety box/$17.99 USD plus tax):

5.7% ABV. "Easy IPA."

Served cold into a dimpled mug.

A: Clear pale copper body. Off-white frothy head.

Sm: Berries. Floral hop aromatics. Honeyed malt. 2-row. Citrus pith. Nectar.

Suggests a balanced but underwhelming IPA with an unimpressive hop profile.

T: Hints of berry mingle with vague citrus and floral hop flavour to good effect, yielding a balanced ale when coupled with its mild 2-row/pale malt sweetness.

Its hop profile doesn't dazzle, but the fusion of berry and classic citrus is enough to keep me interested even if it lacks adequate hop pungency and depth of hop flavour to really compete with the best beers in the style (or even, like, Lagunitas IPA).

Mf: Smooth, wet, somewhat refreshing, well carbonated, medium-bodied.

O: A drinkable IPA that's above average, but its forgettable hop profile fails to make it stand out, and if there's any style you have to stand out in to really warrant a second purchase, it's India Pale Ale. This won't win repeat buys when stacked against the myriad better expressions of the style in the oversaturated market, but there's nothing wrong with it.

I do take issue with the disingenuous marketing of a 5.7% ABV ale with a mild hop profile as an IPA per se, but increasingly this sort of nonsensical dressing up of pale ales as IPAs is becoming if not the norm then expected.
