Hazy darker amber orange color with a thick two finger head with great retention and leaving laces.
Aroma with notes of ripe mango, pineapple and honey.
Flavor with notes of pineapple juice, faint green resin, overripe peaches and some mango. Dry aftertaste with a mild to medium bitterness.
Medium body with appropriate carbonation.
Decent NEIPA with mango and beach notes. It was a bit tired though.

Hazy, orange color. Medium-sized, white head. Pineapple, mango, and citrus in the aroma. Decent, hoppy bitterness in taste. Not bad but not something I would buy again.

L-Two fingered head that's rocky and soapy. Golden straw hazed body. Low carbonation from the view.
S-Sweet squeezed orange juice, pineapple, mango coconut and papaya. Slight dankness. Maybe some touches of fresh strawberry as well as some honey. Malty.
T-Sweet, bitter and slightly tart. Malt forward, with hints of honey and brown sugar. Notes of orange, grapefruit and mango too. Bitter and tart lime in there as well. Maybe some other fruits mixed in as well? I get that coconut flavor in the end which is really pleasent.
F- Decent carbonation with a medium bodied mouthfeel. The body seems to stick to the tongue a bit.
O-A decently solid and strong tasting hazy DIPA. Interesting tropical notes and the malty sweetness really create a powerful and intriguing beer. Would have again, especially if I could get it on draft.

12 oz can, "BB 07/2023"
Pours with an almost medium haze level, looser cap and leaving a bunch of assorted lacing on the glass.
Fresh, dank and fruity sniff.
Densely flavorful brew, with more dank qualities....lime, pineapple notes abound...enjoyable brew that pack a flavor punch

Slightly hazy gold, big white head, excellent retention, rings of lace
Smells like caramel and orange, hints of mango. coconut, and pineapple
Tastes like it smell, coconut is more pronounced, eww
Medium bodied, could use a little more carbonation
Sad to see one of the forefathers of craft brewing capitulate to the market like this.

Very citrusy - notes of pineapple throughout. This is billed as a hazy double IPA, but it isn’t actually hazy at all. It pours a clear golden yellow, with very little lacing. Clean and easy-drinking. A solid entrant by Brooklyn, but again, not at all hazy.

Acquired from the latest BB mixed pack.
L: 3.25. On the thinner side. Head that dissipates quickly. Nearly opaque but light does come through. Mango coloration. Light carbonation.
S: 4. Hoppy and citrusy. Grapefruit. West Coast hops.
T: 4. This is surprisingly malty. Piney hops. A little bit of citra shines through.
F: 3.25 thin mouthfeel.
O: 3.75. Solid DIPA. It won't compete with the better ones out there, but not a bad selection if you want something between classic West Coast and Pulpy New England style. It rides the line in between nicely.

Brooklyn Brewery "Pulp Art Hazy Double IPA"
12 fl. oz. can "BB 01/2023 12:30" and sampled on 30 October 2022
$21.59/12pk variety case @ Javies Beverage, Philadelphia, PA
Notes via stream of consciousness: Not unlike the "Pulp Art Hazy IPA" the double version has poured a very hazy golden-orange beneath a full head of white foam. The head appears to be holding better, which is a good thing, and probably due to it having more malt to it; I could be wrong. The aroma is very nice for a double IPA as they tend to have more malt and less hops but this is pretty bright. I'm getting flowers, soft pineapple, coconut (?), sweetish and grainy malt, mint, nectarine, and dull citrus. I'd initially thought that maybe this was just a bigger version of the "Pulp Art Hazy IPA" but that's absolutely not the case. This is kind of weird but I think I like it better than the standard version. OK, on to the flavor... well it just got weirder. There's a distinctly woody, almost cedar-like note to it that I associate with Sorachi Ace hops but that's not it, it's something else; I'll look it up... ... ... it's Sabro. We've never really gotten along. At lower levels I like Sabro, and maybe in a mix with other hops but the whole coconut/mint/spicy cedar thing is just not something I've ever gotten used to. That's not to say it's bad, just that it's not to my tastes as I find it very odd. It finishes mainly dry, minty, woody/spicy, earthy, and a bit resinous and piney. Did I mention pine before? Sorry, I was distracted by the mint. The more I drink the more I get used to it and the more I like it but that dry wintergreen finish is still weird. Let's wrap it up - it's medium bodied and smooth with a delicate caress of carbonation on the tongue. The head has held up very well but the lacing is limited. Between the two, the standard IPA and this double version, I prefer this. I think it's got more focus, a better balance, and a more unique character.

12oz can.
L: Hazy, dark orange with one finger of off-white head and spotty lacing.
S: Overripe seville oranges.
T: Fermented, overripe seville oranges. Sweet upfront, becoming heavier and more dank in the finish. Gentle bitterness.
F: Medium body and a rich, chewy mouthfeel.
O: Heaps of oranges but not orange juice and not quite marmalade. Leafy and resinous but also sweet, which is a bit weird. Too sweet, overall, for my palate.

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a clear golden color with a one finger head of fizzy white foam. The head fades rather fast leaving just a trace of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is light overall, consisting mostly of caramel and tangerine. Along with these smells comes notes of grain and grapefruit as well as some aromas of herb and mustiness.
Taste – The taste begins with crisp caramel malt flavor mixed with some fruit flavors of tangerine and orange as well as a little bit of a peach and pineapple. Along with these upfront flavors, is a grapefruit and herbal hop taste that adds a nice hoppiness to the brew. As the taste advances, the graininess increases all while a little bit of pine joins in, this is all while the grapefruit gets more bitter rind in nature. Toward the end of the taste, there is a touch of lemon and a slight decrease in the sweetness, leaving one with a rather easy going, moderately hoppy taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is on the lighter side for an 8 % beer with a carbonation level that is moderate to high. For the flavors the feel is good and makes for a dangerously easy sipper.
Overall – Not really hazy, but good non the less. A rather tasty brew overall.
