On draft exclusively at Stout, NYC.
Poured a black hue with scarlet streaks, with a one finger foamy tan head. There was good retention and lacing.
The smell featured a clean roasted malt and a grassy hop.
The taste was likewise full of roasted malts, with a touch of smoke. There was a pleasant and relatively assertive grassy hop note, which kept the flavor fresh and interesting.
The mouthfeel was clean with a dry finish. Typical of non-nitrogenated examples.
Overall a clean, dry and refreshing stout. Very drinkable.
