Bottle. Not sure if 2 years would help his beer but I don't care. Pours a hazy gold with a very agitated, airy-white head. Big old Belgian cap. The aroma is not obnoxiously Belgian. Lightly spicy or phenolic. Sweet, pale fruits. Flavor was a good balance between sweet and all things not of the like. The honey stuck around. I get a wheaty flavor with some phenols and a mixture of kilned grain and pale-flesh fruits. Seemless alcohol. Bubbles are so excessive they almost hurt. Cool?

Straw and gold, aggressive fluffy white foam. Almost wants to be Belgian - dandelion, herbaceous lagery yeast. Nice and bright, honey perfect.

A: Pours a mostly clear pale straw yellow in color with moderate to heavy amounts of streaming visible carbonation from the bottom of the glass and some faint golden yellow highlights. The beer has a four finger tall foamy off-white head that very slowly reduces to a finger tall cap covering the majority of the surface of the beer and a thick ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate to significant amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate aromas of pale malts with moderate aromas of yeast and spices.
T: Upfront there are moderate flavors of pale malts with some hints of light fruit sweetness (apple and pear). That is followed by some moderate to strong flavors of spices including black pepper and just a touch of honey. There is also a moderate flavor of yeast which lingers in the finish.
M: Just shy of medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Clean.
O: The alcohol was well hidden and the beer was rather easy to drink. Enjoyable but not anything special - I was hoping for something more impressive as the exit gift from SAVOR after Terra Incognita the previous year.

A - bottle was a gusher. hazey marigold with a bubbly 3 fingers worth of pearly white foam.
S - the malt profile exhibits notes of fresh cracked wheat. Fruit esters of Sweet orange peel and meyer lemon. Spice notes of Black pepper, coriander, and cardamom. 3.25
T - light flavors of doughy bread and flaky wheat. Spice flavors come through in the form of sweet and bitter orange peel, cardamon, black pepper and coridaner. Alcohol shines through as well as a sweet/cherry flavor. Finish is smooth but short with just a hint of lingering orange and alcohol flavors.
M - light bodied. Crisp texture. High carbonation. Tight champagne like bubbles.
O - interesting style. Alcohol should have been lower for such a delicate style but it still came togethet reasonably well.

A: The beer is relatively clear golden yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a finger high bright white head that died down and has very good retention properties, consistently left a thin head covering the surface.
S: Light to moderate aromas of spices and pale malts are present in the nose along with some notes of honey.
T: The taste is similar to the smell and has flavors of floral honey without the associated sweetness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and slightly clen on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is quite flavorful for a lager and hides its alcohol rather well.

Our exit gift from Savor Craft.
A - Yellow pour that has visible carbonation (the cork became a projectile when opened). There is mild lacing and foam retention. Clarity is somewhat like summer haze.
S - Has a floral scent of honeycomb and lemon grass. Has a slight smell of the Ommegang yeast. Refreshing smell which was appreciated on a hot summer day.
T - Crisp flavors of sweetness and tartness. Citrus notes in finish are mild lemon juice. Slight sugary flavor is noted.
M - Insanely sessionable, and the folks I shared this with raved about how enjoyable to drink. Easy drinking beer for a hot day.
O - Not really a standout beer but I found myself enjoying how simple and tasty this "all NY" beer was. I've got another bottle to see if it holds up. Worth trying specifically for Ommegang lovers.
