A: dark, brownish red - on the lighter side of its general spectrum?... little bit of lace... doesn't hold head for long
S: very understated, flat aromas.... subtle roast... toasted chocolate cake or brown bread.... not at all a brilliant indication of its taste
T: coffee, chicory.... little bit of med-dark crystal and fairly exposed flavor of base malt.... smoothly bittersweet, long lasting through finish.... a 'fresh' overall quality of flavor.... the turkey wrap I started eating midway through with it (lightly salty, lightly mayo-y) really brought out the roast and bitterness, amplifying those nuances to a delicious degree
M: clean with a 'horizontal' flow and feel (mayo on the roof of my mouth flattening it down and outward?)... nearing medium-bodied for the style.... mellow, warming finish... not extremely dry, but dry enough.... overall feel very much on par for where it should be
O: excellent flavor - emphasis on 'fresh'.... well done, true enough to style... worthy of a second pint
