Although I am not a sophisticated beer reviewer, I wanted to take a moment and add to the sparse reviews. This was a very pleasant and refreshing beer without pretense. There is a hint of lime in the bouquet and taste, but it’s not distracting. It is light and smooth and not particularly sweet. I wish there had been a bit more carbonation, but in my post-lawn mowing reverie, I am happy and satisfied, and would not hesitate to drink another one. ☺️

12oz can purchased from the fridge as a single for $2. Canned on 4/21/22, so this is almost 4 months old.

Look: Pours a light to medium golden color with a slight haze. Another way to describe this color would be "straw". There was a decent-sized head that reduced to a very thin layer.

Smell: Lime zest and lime juice. It smells very fresh and it smells like it will have a bit of snappy acidity. If there was tequila in here, it would smell like a margarita. Can't really say that I can detect any hop aromas on the nose. Mild malty undertones.

Taste: This is basically what I was looking for from this beer. It's very light and refreshing, with a nice lime flavor and a touch of acidity. The beer is very light and has a nice crackery malt finish along with lime zest flavors. I couldn't detect any hops in the nose and I can detect very little hop presence in the taste. There is a mild bitterness, probably from boil hops, that balances the malt in the beer nicely. This is a great summertime lawnmower type beer.

Feel: Light to medium bodied, very crisp and refreshing. Even though it's so light, the mouthfeel has a nice, soft creaminess to it. Easy to drink.

Overall: I'm not sure what the right style for this beer is. The can says it's an "Ale with Lime"; BA calls it an American Lager; untappd calls it a Golden Ale. Regardless, it's a very nice summer beer and I like it. Reminds of a shandy without the residual sugar and with lime juice instead of lemon juice. This is the type of beer that you can just sit and drink and not think about.
