Not sure if this is the exact same beer that I tried, but they called it the Martha Wasington at the City Tavern and said the style was a Belgian Bitter. I was also under the impression that there was no wheat used, but I am not positive of that. With all that said, this is a great beer. It sort of reminded me of a wit because iof the orange peal and spice, but the spice in this case is cardamom. It is an orange gold with an almost syrupy body and a spicy finish. Refreshing and appetizing.

Another in the line of beers exclusively for the City Tavern in Philadelphia. A hazy yellow body is topped by a frothy bright-white head that holds well and leaves some nice lace. In the nose, delightful coriander and soft orange peel entice you to taste - it's bold but not overwhelming. The body is light; and a very fine and gently effervescent carbonation leaves it lightly crisp and then airy in the mouth. The flavor offers an exceptional balance of sweet malt, light spicy coriander, orange, and subdued bitterness. It finishes with a dollop of sweet malt that immediately dries to reveal a mild, lingering spiciness and flavor from coriander. Very well balanced! Refreshing and quite easy to drink! An excellent summer beer that's well worth trying.
