Nice head of foam that sticks around for a few minutes. Lovely smell of lemon and bread. Taste is complex and changes with the warming of the beer. Nice carbonation level. Medium body feel, just right.
Overall, a very nice representation of a Belgium Saison!

From a 650 ml. bottle that was bottled on April 21, 2016. Sampled in May 2016. This review is created from some notes at the time.

The pour is yellow with a quick lasting head and a little cloudy.

Nice aroma of Belgian toasted bread, Belgian yeast, coriander and other spices and a touch of melon. Very inviting.

Medium to full body.

Same toasty and Graham cracker characters with a mild herbal note and a little twist of lemon zest. Also a touch of licorice. Not sure why I waited so long to post this review on BA because it was quite tasty.

I saw this new, local offering yesterday at The Beer Store and opted to give it a shot. Cost $7.00 for a 22oz bottle.

Enjoying today while listening to Thick as a Brick.... Poured into a small tulip, it is a cloudy, golden-straw colored brew. Carbo is fine, plentiful and aggressive. The head billowed up to 2" at the start, a fluffy dollop of rocky white foam. It slowly ebbed down a bit, though it didn't leave much in the way of lacing. The aroma is typical of the style, being earthy and musty plus also having a spritz of spiciness. It is very light and airy on the tongue, with a decent dash of prickle. Body was about medium.

It has some crackery malt action at the start, with a bit of lemon peel and subtle pear. It has something slightly peppery going on, with more of the yeasty funk usually found in Saisons.... Has a very dry finish, almost chalk-like, with some spicy notes trying to linger. Not bad, all-in-all.... Prosit!

On tap at Cask and Vine,
Slightly hazy deep yellow with a good sized frothy white head that persists. Earthy spicy yeasty lemony aromas with the slightest bit of funk. Tasty saison I just about engulfed my sample .
