Outrageously priced single can to-go at the brewpub in Highland Park, $7. Ticker surcharge, 4 packs were $14.
Pale canary gold with som haziness and rising carb trails. Billowing head rises over the rim of the glass, creating spotty lacing on the way down.
Aroma is nondescript, faint bready malt, hint of lager yeast and flaked corn.
Taste is light and easygoing, mild crackery malt, tortilla, apple. Feel is light, somewhat smooth, mildly crisp. Carb is light and doesn’t bite back. Would make an easy pairing with tacos at either brewpub.
