Ever heard of a Kartoffelbier? We hadn't either until our head brewer wanted to make one! Kartoffelbier is derived is German and known as a potato beer. This one was brewed with German hops Perle, Mandarina Bavaria and Hallertau. This beer is a dark golden color that's earthy and rich with a slight orange finish. All hail potatoes!

Had on tap at the brewery. Pours clear, amber in color with one half inch head. Taste is cereal and grain. Light bodied, moderate carbonation, slightly sweet. Makes for an interesting experiment but ok beer.
