Was excited to find a local beer and jumped at the chance of purchasing an 8 pack at the local liquor store. After pouring the first one into a Pilsner glass and tasting it my excitement quickly dissipated. Pours a golden yellow with a quite hefty head. The smell is pretty unremarkable and smells of any real macro you will get. Tastes like a mixture of straw and extremely dehydrated urine. Not a fan, let’s hope northern AB can produce some decent brews in the near future.
