This is a cherrywood smoked, wild rice blonde ale. Served in a tall 18oz glass, golden yellow with a persistent white foam that left lacing in the glass. Smells a bit bready, no real smoke smell, some noble hop aromas. The taste isn't particularly smoky either, just enough to add some subtle complexity without being noticeable. Decent mouthfeel, what I expect from a blonde ale, the wild rice may be making it a bit lighter, hard to say. Good blonde ale, nice restrained use of smoked malt but I'm unsure what the wild rice adds to it.
