The beer that started it all. Fruity and floral aroma with a nice crisp stone fruit flavor rounded out with a little west coast bitterness.

Red-amber color with a firm cap of slightly off white foam, good lace all around.
Aroma is nice - steeped grain and caramel, some sulfur notes on top of subtle herbal hops.
Flavor is timid cold, but malty up front, again, good grain character and mild hop bitterness.
Grain toastiness come through more as it warms, a bit less attenuated and this would be a nice SB or ESB.
Body is really light even for style - not quite watery but no real heft or tongue weight.
Finish is dry and grassy hop.
A nice session ale.
