Purchased at First Choice Liquor in Waurn Ponds in February 2025 and drunk in May of that year.
L: Hazy amber with a thin covering of white head and lots of large bubbles rushing up the glass.
S: The nose is somewhat neutral with a slightly earthy, slightly stonefruit nose.
T: The taste follows the nose. There's an earthy bitterness with a smooth stonefruit and slight melon note, sitting over a crisp and clean malt base. I know that if they've used noble hops, then that flavour profile shouldn't be there, but it's what I'm getting! Regardless, it's very nice.
M: The beer is quite sharply carbonated, and it kicks on the swallow and on the way down, but it suits the beer nicely. The body is smooth and well-rounded.
O: This tasty lager would perfectly suit a relaxed, laid-back session.
Cheers
