There's a little haze inside this beer, which shows a paler honey color, while above spotty lace dots the glass. There is vague fruitness smelled, also a strong floral aroma and some honey. As one could expect from a Citra hopped ale, Summer Citra offers a fine overall taste. Pine, floral, slight fruitness, and a kiss of pineapple make the profile. It also features a strong astringent note, which does make the finish of the beer much more rough that I would want. As a late morning drink, it will do.
