Pours a gorgeous straw color, with the slightest smidgen of hop haze, and a sudsy, creamy white head that provides some lacing. Solid grain bill on the nose, with some grassy hops, along with bread and cereal malts.

The hops are ever so slightly floral on the taste, and there’s a grassy note as well, along with some sweetness from the bread and cereal malts. The mouthfeel is crisp and on point for the style.

This is a really nice “summer crusher” fridge beer that would work really nicely sitting around the pool.

12oz can (no date but the code 554555 on the bottom) poured into 14oz teku. poured a lightly hazy golden yellow color with a full 2 inches of white head that had very good retention and very light lacing.

The aroma and taste were both about what is expected; solid grain, light, floral hops, a touch of yeast. The body was perhaps a touch fuller than average. Drinkability was good, an easy quaffer for sure. Overall, a solid and enjoyable brew.

I had this beer on-tap in a pint glass at the brewery.

Appearance: medium golden hue with a clear body and a thin layer of ivory foam. They just don't pour with an emphasis on head here at Old Stove, but otherwise this looks great.

Smell: mildly grainy with a sweet malt and a dash of hops. It's very true to style, though could maybe be hoppier.

Taste: malty, sweet, grainy, and relatively bitter. A good take on the style, if not super smooth.

Mouthfeel: medium body with a big, well-integrated carbonation and a good creaminess. Particularly good for the style.

Overall: this is a well-executed and eminently drinkable Pilsner. I dig it.
