Had on tap. Magenta body with no head save a short lived off-white ring. Aromas of blackberry puree, that's it. Taste is more of the classic kettle sour with a candied affect on blackberry, lingering tartness is playful, hints of currant and hibiscus as it warms. Feel is lighter bodied and decently tart but the sip is very quick off the palate. Gateway to the style kind of beer

I had this beer on-tap in a tulip at the brewery.
Appearance: rich, dark salmon pink with a fair dose of haze and a thin finger of ivory-pink foam. It's definitely a thing!
Smell: tart and fruity. Not immediately identifiable as blackberry, but refreshing and welcoming.
Taste: malty, a little funky, tart and fruity. Definitely a Berliner weissbier type of character (it is, in fact, a kettle sour); like the aroma, the fruitiness is not really identifiable as blackberry, but I really like I anyway.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a moderate carbonation and decent creaminess for the style.
Overall: a little tart, a little fruity and a lot refreshing. I dig it.
