Poured from a mini growler into a Fremont small snifter. Pours a very dark mahogany brown with little light transmission in the glass and a thin, off white head that dissipates to tiny patches with slight lacing. Aroma of mild dark toasted malt and vanilla. Flavor is mild dark malt, cocoa and vanilla with a hint of coconut in the finish. Light to medium bodied with slight creaminess. A solid light porter with some good chocolate notes and a little vanilla and coconut to liven it up. The latter is quite subdued, but shows up in the finish to aftertaste. The cocoa is best part of this and helps it stand out a little.
